Did you know that Knoxville is an official United States refugee resettlement city? Every year the Knoxville/Maryville area welcomes hundreds of refugees from different parts of the world, and we want to equip you to engage them!
A refugee is defined as someone who is unable to return to their home because they are persecuted or have a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.
As Christians, we are called to welcome the stranger among us, and to care for them. At Foothills Church, we have the capacity, the generosity, and the conviction to do this.
