The Foothills Church Leadership Development Program exists to strategically develop future church leaders through real ministry experience, pastoral exposure, theological education, and intentional equipping.

Our Vision: Raising Up Leaders for the Church

At Foothills Church, we believe future church leaders are best developed in the life of the local church. We move beyond the classroom and into relational environments where participants can serve, receive mentorship, and grow through real ministry responsibility.

Our vision is to identify, train, and deploy leaders who are prepared to serve on the FC staff team or faithfully lead in ministries around the world.

Experience

Hands-on ministry leadership. Participants serve alongside ministry teams and contribute meaningfully to the mission.

Exposure

Learning how a healthy church functions. Participants observe decision making, team collaboration, and ministry planning.

Education

Leadership and ministry training. We provide intentional study in theology, leadership philosophy, and practical ministry skills.

Equipping

Character, calling, and spiritual formation. Leaders receive mentorship and feedback as they grow in prayer, character, and relational maturity.

Protégé Program

For high school students beginning to lead.

Designed for students who want to grow in their faith and influence others for Jesus. Protégés serve on Sundays, help lead at Midweek events, and participate in leadership huddles.

Designed for upper high school and college students who want to explore ministry and gain experience inside a healthy local church environment.

For future vocational ministry leaders.

Designed for seminary or graduate students preparing for vocational ministry. Residents receive greater leadership responsibility and deeper pastoral exposure.
