Make Your Life Count

In 2021 our focus as a church is to “Make It Count.” To “make it count” means we have concentrated our vision on multiplying locations, improving locations, and creating externally focused ministries. We pray that you would join us in this and that you would invest your life as well.

Multiply Locations

Here at Foothills Church, one of our core values is that We Can’t Stay Here, which means we are committed to sharing the truth of the gospel here in our community, and beyond. As a part of that goal, we are working to plant an FC location in Knoxville, specifically in the Bearden area. Led by Pastor Greg Gibson, this church will take our mission to develop mature disciples of Christ in relational environments to the city of Knoxville.

Improve Locations

We believe that the Next Generation Matters, and families deserve to have an amazing place to worship each week. We are continuing our goal to renovate the West Building for our children and students, and we trust that the Lord will bless us with an amazing place to invest in the next generation.

Create Ministries

In Matthew 25, Jesus explains that ministering to the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick, and imprisoned is what it looks like to serve the ‘least of these’. In obedience to that, we have cultivated and created several ministry opportunities for the people of Foothills Church. Loving people in these areas is a part of what we are doing to Make It Count here in our community and beyond.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
