This free family event is open to the community and will feature two thrilling helicopter drops tailored to kids of all ages. Also, enjoy food trucks, inflatables and more before joining us Saturday evening in Maryville for a special Easter at Foothills Church worship experience beginning at 5:30 p.m.

We invite you and your family back to Foothills Church in Maryville for Easter at Foothills Church - a high-energy worship experience and Easter celebration beginning at 5:30 p.m. At FC, we believe You Belong Here and provide incredible FC Kids environments for all kids from birth through 5th-grade. If you can’t make our Saturday evening worship experience, Easter at Foothills Church will continue Sunday with services at both 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. We can’t wait to see you there!

Where will the FC Helicopter Egg Drop take place?

The FC Helicopter Egg Drop will take place at William Blount High School, with all pre-stuffed plastic eggs being dropped by Scenic Helicopter Tours on the football field.

Who is conducting the helicopter drop?

Foothills Church is the official host of the event and has worked together with Scenic Helicopter Tours, a fully insured and certified helicopter operator based in Gatlinburg, Tenn., to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Scenic Helicopter Tours has experience conducting several similar Easter egg drops across the region.

What time will the egg drops take place?

The first egg drop is scheduled to take place at 12:10 p.m., for children five and under. A second drop for kids K-5th grade, and will take place once the field is completely cleared and secured – approximately 45 minutes later.

Will a separate drop take place for infants and children under five?

Yes, we will host two drops. One for kids five years old and under, and a second for kids five and older.

Is this event open to the public?

Yes, the FC Helicopter Egg Drop is a free, family-oriented event open to the community. We encourage you to bring your friends, family and neighbors!

Where can I park?

We will have a volunteer parking staff guiding all guests to free parking at the William Blount High School football stadium.

What safety measures have been taken?

We have worked closely with officials at William Blount High School, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Maryville Police Department and Scenic Choppers to ensure all guests and kids will be safe throughout this event. The helicopter being used for the event is being flown by a certified pilot with Scenic Choppers which has conducted several similar events.

The FC Helicopter Egg Drop will take place at William Blount High School, located at 219 County Farm Road Maryville, TN 37801. Upon arriving at the high school, follow the Foothills Church volunteer team for parking and check in tables.
