KARM Stores
What They Do
KARM (Knox Area Rescue Ministries) serves men, women and children through a variety of ministry programs designed to break the cycle of homelessness. Everything that is sold at or donated to KARM Stores helps with their singular mission of restoring lives in Jesus’ name.
What We Do
FC participates in a cycle of giving with KARM Stores by donating gently used items to their retail stores, and encouraging our church to do so as well, which accumulates credit in their donation system. FC receives quarterly KARM gift cards which are distributed throughout the community based on needs brought to us.
What You Can Do
- Pray for KARM ministries.
- Donate gently used items to a KARM store and give your contact information to the KARM employee receiving your donation, stating that you want to record your donation credit for Foothills Church.
- Volunteer at a KARM location as an individual, family or small group and credit your volunteer time for Foothills Church or donate financially to KARM.
Blount County Isaiah 117 House
What They Do
When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) offices to await placement with a foster family. This can take hours or longer. Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where children can be brought to wait where they receive the comfort and care they need while DCS staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good foster placement.
What We Do
FC is the Blount County Isaiah 117 House pajama church. Our goal is that each child receives 2 new pairs of pjs when they arrive at the house. The house is next door to FC.
What You Can Do
- Pray for the Blount County Isaiah 117 House ministry.
- Donate new pajamas with tags on at FC for the house. We collect child and adult size pjs.
- Volunteer to help our Blount County Isaiah 117 House.
