The Journey
We call our discipleship process The Journey. Every believer is on a journey with Christ and we desire to partner with you on this journey to help you connect with other believers and with God.

BASECAMP:
This is a class that allows our staff the opportunity to share who we are and what we believe. It will acclimatize you to our vision and beliefs. We’ll share our discipleship strategy and explain avenues for you to connect to other believers and to Christ. It’s offered on the first Sunday of every month after the 11 o’clock service. You must complete this class in order to become a partner. Becoming a partner with our church means that you want to engage the mission of God and take part in the vision of Foothills. Most churches use the word “member” but we like to use the word “partner” because we want people to understand that we expect everyone to get involved in the vision God has given to our church, not just show up on Sunday.

Camp 2:
After BASECAMP, we encourage you attend Camp 2. In this class we'll teach our discipleship strategy and help you understand where you are at in the process. This class also helps people connect to a small group. Small groups are the key to our discipleship strategy becasue we believe the best way for people to grow is in a "relational environment."

Camp 3:
This class is designed to help you understand your passions, spiritual gifts, and your personality profile. Understanding how God has gifted and wired you will help you determine God's plan for your life. We will also help you find a ministry that fits your strengths.
Here are the steps for Camp 3:
Step 1: Register for the class
Step 2: You'll need to pay for the class ($10) and pick up your Camp 3 packet
Step 3: Complete the assesments at home
Step 4: Bring all your assesments to your scheduled meeting
Summits:
LEADERSHIP SUMMITS:
After you have joined a Small Group and completed BASECAMP, Camp 2, and Camp 3, you are ready to begin attending our Leadership Summits. These events are held twice a year. They are designed to challenge and inspire leaders to grow. Topics will cover a variety of issues and help equip you to develop disciples.
LIFE SUMMITS:
Life Summit are classes that can be taken at any time and in any order. They are designed to equip you in a specific life stage. Take a look at all the classes here.
