Purpose
Love the City exists to engage the needs of our city as we seek to cultivate and create a redemptive environment by sharing God's love through specific mercy ministries and service activities for the glory of God and the good of our city. Since nobody will ever remember all that, we just say "Love the City."

Past LTC Projects:
Love the City 2011
- Yard Work for Widows. April 16 and April 30th. We had about 40 people come out and serve 5 homes in the Alcoa area.
- Yard Work for Widows and the Elderly in September. We had about 50 people come out and serve 7 homes in the Alcoa area.
- MLK Center Halloween Party. On October 26, we had over 30 students and adults come out to the MLK Center to serve children.
- 100+ Thanksgiving baskets. We gave away 100+ Thanksgiving baskets to families in need this year.
- 100+ Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. We gave away 100+ shoes box to Operation Christmas Child this year.
- KARM Trainings in December.
- Launch of Love the City Parnterships and Teams.
- Human Tafficking Awareness Night. November 13, 2011. We had several agencies come to our facility, as well as a senator for this event.
- Food Collegection and Coat Collection for local ministries during the holiday season.
Love the City 2010

- 15 Thanksgiving Baskets for Families in Need.
- Fall Festival. On the 9th of October, we came out to serve at the Fall Festival. We loved on families in our communities and shared the love of Jesus in both word and deed..
- Prayer Walk. On October 17, a group went door to door in a local neighborhood asking for prayer requests. Many connections were made with the people in our community as we intentionally sought out the needs in our city.
- Pregnancy Resource Center. On the last Saturday of October, we joined together to serve the Pregnancy Resource Center of Blount County. We raked their leaves and cleaned their gutters with hopes of encouraging and serving such a great ministry in our city.
- Halloween Night at the Mall. On the night before Halloween, a group of people from our church stationed our Mall Office and loved our community by giving out candy to trick-or-treaters at the Foothills Mall Halloween Night.
- Blount County Children's Home. On Saturday, September 25, students and adults came together to do maintenance and yard work for BCCH. We cleaned, mowed, and trimmed with the purpose of serving our neighbors to reflect Jesus' love for us.

Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries
Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries mission is to seek to rescue the poor and needy of the Knox Area by providing recovery services in Jesus' name.

Martin Luther King Center in Alcoa.
The MLK Center serves the community of Alcoa in a variety of ways. Our specific partnership seeks to serve children through tutoring and other events for the center throughout the year.

Pregnancy Resource Center of Blount County.
Since 1986, the Pregnancy Resource Center has helped women cope with unplanned pregnancies and consider their alternatives in a compassionate, supportive environment with the help of trained peer counselors.

Kids Hope
KIDS HOPE USA develops these one-on-one relationships through the creation of church-school partnerships that pair church members with at-risk kids in supportive, mentoring relationships.

2nd Harvest Food Bank
Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee is dedicated to eliminating hunger in our 18 county service area by providing food, services and education to address the nutritional needs of all people at risk of hunger.
